My name is Margaret McGaffin, the creator behind Avante Video. My path to filmmaking began while managing a bustling household and working as a newsreader on local radio. The turning point came when I responded to an advert to create a documentary for local television, marking my definitive 'aha' moment.

During the production of the documentary, I had the privilege to collaborate with seasoned professionals in the camera and editing departments. This experience not only sharpened my skills but also opened doors to further opportunities in film and television, broadening my horizons and deepening my passion for the industry.
